APEX — Apex is the ninth best place to live in the country, according to Money Magazine.
The publication released its 2013 list of Best Places to Live in America on Monday. The list highlights towns with populations of 10,000 to 50,000 with an “optimal combination of economic strength, job growth, affordability, good schools, diversity, health care, a strong sense of community and more.”
After the news was released, N.C. Rep. Paul Stam issued a statement: “As a longtime resident of Apex I am pleased to know our town is receiving the recognition it deserves from Money Magazine’s ranking. It is truly a wonderful family oriented community that attracts those who desire a small town atmosphere with plenty of amenities. I’m proud to call Apex our hometown and an important part of my legislative district.”
Sharon, Mass., earned the No. 1 spot on the list.
