Local Boy Scout earns Eagle Scout rank

Michael Rodgers, an Apex resident and graduate of Apex High School, earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.

For his Eagle Scout project, Rodgers made two new trails in the Apex Community Park and led a team to build benches along the trails.

Rodgers is the son of Gary and Deborah Rodgers. He is a member of Troop 316 and Venture Crew 316.
