Fuquay-Varina library to close for renovations

— The Fuquay-Varina Community Library will close Monday for nearly two months of minor renovations.

The library at 133 S. Fuquay Ave. will get new carpet, paint and furniture, and workers are redesigning the floor plan.

In anticipation of the closure, the library will remain open until 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3. Books checked out that day will be due Saturday, Oct. 12.

The book return outside the library will be closed during the renovation. The library is expected to reopen at the end of September.

Nearby libraries include the Holly Springs Community Library, the Eva Perry Regional Library in Apex and the Southeast Regional Library in Garner.
