Cary man faces child-sex charge

— Police arrested a Cary man and charged him with one count of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Josh Parker Wheeless, 28, of 1212 Wicklow Drive, was arrested Tuesday morning at the Cary police station. Police said in an arrest warrant that he had persuaded a 16-year-old to send him nude digital pictures last weekend.

Wheeless was being held in lieu of $250,000 bail for a court appearance Wednesday. From staff reports
