Family support ministry meeting

A family support ministry organized by Mary Williams-Farrington and the Pardoned by Christ Ministry will meet the second Tuesday of every month. The ministry provides support for people who have been incarcerated or who have or have had an incarcerated family member. Holy Land Experience trip

Everlasting Life Christian Church will take a trip to The Holy Land Experience in Orlando, Fla., on Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20. The trip includes a bus ride to Florida, a ticket to The Holy Land Experience, a one-night hotel stay and breakfast on Saturday. The cost of the trip is $175 for adults and $150 for children under 9. A $100 deposit must be received by Wednesday, July 10, and the remaining balance must be paid by Thursday, July 18.

Yard sale for Honduras mission

Peace Presbyterian Church will host a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at the church, 1777 W Chatham St., Cary.

Proceeds will benefit the Puerta de Esperanza (Door of Hope) Mission to the World home in Honduras that supports young single mothers. Bring items for the yard sale to the church on Friday, July 26.

Summer Camp for Women

Writing camp

“Color Your World With Words,” a writing camp for kids ages 8 to 12, will be from Monday, July 15, to Friday, July 19, at Peace Presbyterian Church, 1777 W. Chatham St., Cary. There will be games, stories, poems, lemonade breaks, interviews and time for writing. On Thursday, the campers will take a field trip to the Page-Walker Arts & History Center, followed by a hot dog lunch at Ashworth Drugs. Cost is $150 and includes all supplies.
