Mike Kuber: No thanks, baseball

No thanks, baseball

I can recall Holly Springs Mayor Dick Sears once saying “small is good,” referring to our town. Now I read about a baseball stadium to be built? What’s happening to our small, quiet little town?

Thanks to those who voted in favor of the bond issue for more parks in our town. To all you voters who wanted this, I hope you’ll be ready for a tax increase soon to pay for this huge addition.

Did anyone think of what the traffic will be like now, especially on the N.C. 55 bypass with the new mall and a new stadium?

I for sure will not vote in favor of anyone on this council next Election Day.
