The UNC Wellness Center at Northwest Cary will hold an open house from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at 350 Stonecroft Lane, Cary. There will be facility tours, demonstrations and children’s activities. The center will officially open Monday, July 15.

Calendar

The Morrisville Chamber of Commerce will hold a “Coffee and Connections” meeting from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Thursday, June 27, at the White Ventures Chamber Building, 260 Town Hall, Suite A, Morrisville. The monthly meetings are designed to help members hone their networking skills and build an effective network to grow their businesses. Nonmembers can attend three meetings before paying a $10 fee. The Chef’s Academy, which has a location in Morrisville, has promoted Ashley N. Hanslits to director of enrollment for the culinary institute.

Railinc Corp. in Cary has hired Amy Mitchell as senior corporate recruiter; and promoted Angela Buccigrosse to business analyst, David Kunttu to business analyst, Rory O’Brien to product support specialist and Megan Rowe to buyer.
