Lessons from a jump-rope star

Adrienn Banhegyi, a Hungarian jumprope champion, met with the Cary SuperSkippers for a performance and workshop on Monday, June 10. Banhegyi is a star performer in Cirque du Soleil's "Quidam," set to hit the PNC Arena July 10 to July 14. Wearing full makeup and a wig, she helped the championship-winning Cary team learn new behind-the-back and over-the-top tricks. The SuperSkippers already have appeared on television with First Lady Michelle Obama and won a national competition in 2012.

Banhegyi is a performer in Cirque du Soleil’s “Quidam,” set to hit the PNC Arena in Raleigh on July 10-14. Wearing full makeup and a wig, Banhegyi helped the champion Cary SuperSkippers learn behind-the-back and over-the-top tricks.

The local team has appeared on television with first lady Michelle Obama and won a national championship in 2012.
