Regional baseball

The winner of Green Hope and Fuquay-Varina’s fourth-round tilt will play in a best-of-three series, likely starting Thursday, against the winner of Garner at Richmond County. The winner of the weekend series claims the 4A East regional title and will move on to the state championship best-of-three series the following week.
