Baseball

Apex Fall Youth

All practices and games will be held at local parks and the season runs from July to mid-October. The program is for boys ages 9-15. Ages determined as of Oct. 31, 2013.

Resident registration is ongoing. Non-resident registration begins Saturday, June 1. Fees are $51 for residents; $66 for non-residents. All registration will be held at the Apex Community Center, 53 Hunter St. during normal business hours. This program is not available for online registration. Basketball

Cary Men’s 40 and over

The season will be June-August for men ages 40 and older. Registration will be Monday, May 20, to Thursday, May 23. Team fee is $325. Details: www.townofcary.org.

Holly Springs adult

Practices begin the week of June 3, and games begin the week of June 10 at W.E. Hunt Recreation Center gym. The league is for men who will be at least 18 at the start of the season. Registration ends Friday, May 24. Team registrations only. The deadline to have a player sign a roster is noon Monday, June 10.

Football

Fuquay-Varina Youth Tackle

Each league will have three age divisions (6-8, 8-10 and 10-12) with weight restrictions of 40-150 pounds. All participants will register into one pool and be evaluated by coaches during conditioning week starting Aug. 5. Registration ends Saturday, July 20. Fees are $60 for residents; $85 for nonresidents. Details: www.fuquay-varina.org.

Holly Springs Fall Youth

Youth football league play is offered for ages 7-11. Resident registration ends Friday, June 7. Non-resident registration begins Monday, June 3. Registration will be taken at the W.E. Hunt Recreation Center, 301 Stinson Ave. or online at www.hollyspringsnc.us.

Lacrosse

YLS Summer

The Youth Lacrosse System will hold a series of lacrosse youth camps and leagues for boys and girls rising into grades kindergarten through eighth. South Wake Cross Training

Leagues are coed for ages 5-14. Ages determined as of Oct. 31, 2013. Practices are held on weeknights with games played on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Practices will start in late July. Games will be played August through mid-October.

All league practices and games will be played at Apex Community Park. Matches will start in July. Teams will consist of six players, at least two men and two women. Individuals must be 17 years old.
