Kathy Davis: A thank-you

A thank-you

In this world of folks who promise everything and rarely deliver, I’d like to recognize Bob Dascombe, senior vice president of South Hills Mall in Cary. Over the past two years, Mr. Dascombe has worked to secure a handicapped-accessible door at the D&S Cafeteria so patrons can more freely access the facility. And he has been more than diligent in having the door repaired when it has been inoperational.

He deserves a tremendous “thank you” from everyone who visits D&S Cafeteria and no longer struggles with entrance into the restaurant. In an age when most folks say, “I'll see about that” and seldom come through, it is so refreshing to find someone who sticks by his word. This member of the Cary community thanks you so much for your commitment to all of those folks with special mobility needs.
