Cary students awarded Eagle Scout rankingTwo Cary students were awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouting.
Sean James Conley will hold his Eagle Scout Court of Honor on Sunday, March 24. For his Eagle Scout project, he designed and led the construction of an outdoor classroom stage for the pre-Kindergarten class of Briarcliff Elementary School.
Conley is the son of Richard and Cheryl Randecker and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Conley and a junior at Cary High School. He is a member of Boy Scout Troop 200, sponsored by the United Methodist Men of First United Methodist Church.
Nick Board held his Eagle Scout Court of Honor on Feb. 5. For his Eagle Scout project, he led a group of scouts and adults in the design and construction of two park benches for an enclosed courtyard at the Glenaire Retirement Community, allowing residents to enjoy the outdoors in a safe environment.
Board is the son of Charles and Ellen Board and a senior at Cary High School. He is a member of Boy Scout Troop 216.
