Life Experiences, Inc. will hold their ninth annual Ride for Jason and Friends Poker Run event on April 6. At the event, each bike rider will receive a playing card at each of five stops; the rider with the best poker hand at the last stop will win a prize.
Morrisville Mayor Jackie Holcombe and Cary Mayor Harold Weinbrecht have both agreed to support the Ride for Jason event and the mayor that receives the most Likes during a Facebook contest through Friday, March 15, will have their biker representatives lead the event riders to their first stop. Terramor Homes, a local premier home building company in the Triangle, has pledged to raise $120,000 for the MIX 101.5 Radiothon for Duke Childrens Hospital and Health Center and will build the organizations 2014 Miracle Home. The 2014 Miracle Home will be located within Carys Cameron Pond Community at 744 Magalloway Drive. Proceeds from the homes sale will be donated to Duke Childrens Hospital and Health Center.
