Cary Boy Scouts earn Eagle Scout rank
Two Cary Boy Scouts have recently been awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, which is the highest rank in Boy Scouts. Kevin Meyer
received his Eagle Scout during a Court of Honor on Jan. 6. For his project, Meyer led a group of scouts and adults in the design and construction of two large wooden storage boxes for sandbox toys on the Salem Elementary School kindergarten playground.
Meyer is the son of Chris and Kristin Meyer of Cary and a sophomore at Apex High School. He is a member of Boy Scout Troop 216.
For his Eagle Scout project, Christopher Wagner
designed and led the construction of a misting station for the playground at Christ the King Lutheran Church of Cary.
Wagner is a junior at Panther Creek High School and a member of Boy Scout Troop 204.
