Chili cook-off competition

The men’s ministry at Sunrise United Methodist Church will host its third annual chili cook-off competition from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24, at 5420 Sunset Lake Road, Holly Springs. Entry fee is $20. Participants should make enough chili to feed 12-15 people and provide a collection jar at their station for donations. Proceeds will benefit the Holly Springs Food Cupboard. Musical program

Concert

Women’s Retreat

White Plains United Methodist Church will host its 2013 Women’s Retreat on Friday, April 12, through Sunday, April 14, at the Laurel Ridge Retreat Center in the N.C. mountains.
