Mr. Breeden is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Eleanor Noble Phelps-Breeden; his mother, Frances Eoff Breeden (Mrs. Edward V. Breeden, Jr.) of Raleigh; his sister, Frances B. (Mrs. R. Peter) Schauss of Great River, New York; niece, Sarah B. (Mrs. Timo J.) Sipila of Helsinki, Finland and Great River, New York; nephew, Matthew H. (Eraina) Schauss of Memphis, Tennessee; great -niece, Isabella C. Sipila; and great nephew, Alistair M. Schauss. Mr. Breeden was preceded in death by his father, Edward V. Breeden, Jr.

The Family will receive friends Friday evening, February 15, at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, seven until nine o’clock p.m. Funeral is scheduled for Saturday, February 16, two o’clock pm at St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church, Durham, NC. Burial is private.
