Financial Peace University classes

Genesis United Methodist Church will present Dave Ramsey’s “Financial Peace University” classes from 2:30 to 4:15 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, through Sunday, April 14, at 850 High House Road, Cary. The new nine-week format is aimed at helping participants gain control of their money and set a plan for insurances, retirement, college savings and giving.

Winter Bible study

• A five-week Lenten study titled “The Life You’ve Always Wanted” will be from 11 a.m. to noon or 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, at Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian Church, 200 High Meadow Drive, Cary. The study will be based on the book by John Ortberg, and sessions will be led by the Rev. Jody Welker and the Rev. Melinda Merkley King. Black History Month Celebration
