Genevieve (Jen) was born June 1, 1931 in Saginaw, MI to Joseph Hanzel and Antonia Ondruch Hanzel with older brothers Robert Hanzel (Joan) and Alfred Hanzel, who have all predeceased her. Jen was the wife of Harold Miller, who passed away October 12, 2006. Harold and Jen moved to Cary, NC in 1967 where he was employed by Lufkin Rule Company. Jen was reunited with those who passed away before her on January 23, 2013.

Jen is survived by nieces, Terri Stewart, Carole Crowley and Janice Whitlow; nephews, Ronald Hanzel and Stanley Hanzel; and many grand and great grand nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Marlyn Beechie (Al) of The Villages, FL, Dolores Miller of Traverse City, MI and Virginia Hanzel of Irvine, CA; and longtime caregiver and best friend, Gail Reikowsky (Fred) of Cary, NC.

Services will be held privately in Riverside, CA.
