It is vital to the public health and safety of Gander Mountain – indeed, to all of North Carolina – that the sale of semi-automatic weapons be outlawed.

These guns have no value to hunters or to people protecting themselves from intruders.

These guns are meant simply for the mass slaughter of children and adults, as evidenced by Newtown. Get them out of our gun shows, our Walmarts and anywhere else they are sold.

I fully support Morrisville Mayor Jackie Holcombe in her attempts to safeguard her community. We need more like her.
