The Center for Volunteer Caregiving will hold its annual event, the Red Carpet Rendezvous, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. at Prestonwood Country Club, 300 Prestonwood Parkway, Cary. There will be jazz performances by John Brown Entertainment and Carol Ingbretsen, heavy hors doeuvres, live and silent auction, wall of wine raffle and testimonials from the community. Ralph and Daphne Ashworth will be the honorary chairs. Tickets are $75 each, and proceeds will go to help seniors and adults with disabilities remain safe at home.
