Tim was born October 27, 1968 in Raleigh, NC to the late Waldo David Knott and Doris Johnson Knott. He was a graduate of Cary High School and Wake Technical Community College. He worked as an automotive mechanic and his motto was “Living the Dream”.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Donna Lodin.

Tim was survived by his wife, of 13 years, Kitten Clayton Knott; step-son, Clayton Blackwelder; sisters, Nancy Parton; Carol Jackson; Lynne Scullen; and Sallie Deaton.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home Chapel, 200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511. The family will receive friends 2-3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
