CARY - Burglars have hit a string of apartment complexes along N.C. 55 in Cary, local police said today.

In all, police have responded to ten break-ins and attempted burglaries along the western Cary highway since Dec. 4. No residents encountered the burglars, but electronics, televisions, gaming systems and MP3 players went missing, according to police reports.

Cary police are investigating the burglaries, but they don't have a description of any suspects or suspect vehicles, according to a police report.

The police ask anyone with information about the crimes to contact the Town of Cary Police Department at (919) 469-4324 or Cary Crime Stoppers at (919) 226-CRIM(E).
