BasketballMorrisville Youth WinterPractices will start the week following the Thanksgiving holiday. Games are scheduled to begin the week of Dec. 10 and will continue until mid-March. No games will take place during the holiday season.
Registration is open. Fees are $66 for residents and $99 for nonresidents. Boys and girls ages 5-12. Ages determined as of March 31, 2013. For details, visit

Buddy SportsHolly SpringsBuddy Sports is a program for special needs children ages 5-13 with varying levels of ability. Sports include: soccer, T-ball, basketball, gymnastics and tennis. Classes meet for an hour on Saturday mornings, usually at the W.E. Hunt Recreation Center.
Fees are $20 for residents and $30 for nonresidents. Roles for volunteers of any age include assisting instructors or working with class participants. Contact Jon Allen at 919-567-4728.
Flag FootballFuquay-Varina Adult MenGames will be seven on seven with a maximum of 10 players on each team and played on Saturday mornings.

LacrosseSouth Wake All-SportsEvery Monday through Dec. 17, the South Wake Lacrosse Park will hold an open play series for children in fourth grade and older and adults who want to compete in the sport of the day, which will include flag football, touch rugby, home run derby wiffle ball, ultimate Frisbee and more.
