Much-needed road improvement

When I served as mayor of Morrisville, our biggest issue was traffic – more specifically, N.C. 54/Chapel Hill Road traffic.

The traffic on this segment of road has gotten worse, and we now have an opportunity to do something about it. I will be voting for the bond referendum on Nov. 6 that will be used to build a bypass for N.C. 54 using McCrimmon Parkway. The bonds will also be used to improve the Morrisville Aquatics and Fitness Center and Morrisville Community Park.

This is the best and most cost-effective alternative to getting N.C. 54 moving again, as well as making necessary improvements to our recreational facilities. Please get out and vote on Nov. 6 for the bond referendum and help make a difference for the quality of life in Morrisville.
