Cary Girl Scout Junior Troop 1105 collected sheets and blankets for the Carying Place, a nonprofit organization that helps homeless families. Flu vaccination clinics to be held in Fuquay-Varina

Flu vaccination clinics will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Monday and Thursday at the Southern Regional Center, 130 N. Judd Parkway, Fuquay-Varina.

Cost is $30. Flu vaccinations are free for uninsured, pregnant women; family members, caregivers or other close contacts to infants less than six months of age; students attending any college or university in North Carolina; and children who qualify for the federal government’s Vaccines for Children program. Appointments are suggested.
