Christian Library International Author Dinner

The 10th annual Christian Library International Author Dinner will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, at Embassy Suites, 201 Harrison Oaks Blvd., Cary. Author Carol Kent will speak. Cost is $60. Proceeds will go directly to providing more than 1,100 jails and prisons in the United States with Bibles, Christian books and Bible studies. For tickets, call 919-212-8122.

Christmas Pageant

Concert

The Saint Francis Brass Band will hold a benefit for the Wake Interfaith Hospitality Network at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, in the sanctuary of Saint Francis United Methodist Church, 2965 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary. Conference

A seminar sponsored by the Spiritual Practices Ministry Team titled “Spreading Our Wings, Growth through the Enneagram” will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, in the fellowship hall at Cary Presbyterian Church, 614 Griffis St., Cary.
