The N.C. National Guard Suicide Prevention planning committee will hold its second annual Gratitude walk from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the N.C. National Guard Military Center, 1636 Gold Star Drive, Raleigh. The walk will be three miles long.

Save A Life 5K

The third annual Save A Life 5k Walk/Run for Suicide Prevention will be held at 9 a.m. at WakeMed Soccer Park, 201 Soccer Park Drive, Cary. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. To register, visit www.helpingsavealife.com.

All vehicle participants will receive a gift bag with free stuff, special discounts and a raffle ticket. There will be music, games, face painting, balloon twisting and a prize wheel for children. The East Cary Middle School Steel Drum Band will perform. The raffle will benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Durham.
