Taxes mean services

I’m just wondering how many of the parents complaining about the school bus issues in Wake County are from the no-government-is good-government school of thought. That’s to say, “I want services, but I don't want to pay for them.”

This is exactly the type of thing that severely affects our lives when the vocal minority who thinks taxes are bad gets their way. I proudly pay my taxes because I need good services, and privatizing everything is not the answer. A whole lot of people would be left out of the loop that at least tries to level the playing field were that the case.
