Cary student earns Eagle Scout rank

James R. Stevens of Cary has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Boy Scouts on June 13.

For his Eagle project, Stevens planned and led the construction and installation of three bluebird houses and one butterfly house for the town of Cary’s Bond Park, at the boat house area. These will provide new habitats and enhance community awareness of bluebirds and butterflies.
