Kevin Peter Clukey, 48, of Cary, died Friday, August 3, 2012 at his home in Cary.
Kevin was born June 11, 1964 in Troy, NY. He grew up in Clifton Park, N.Y. He attended Rochester Institute of Technology where he was in the first class to graduate with a degree in Microelectronic Engineering. Kevin was an entrepreneur, started his own company, Kewler, LLC, and invented the Icyball to help people with chronic pain.
He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Joseph and Kathryne Clukey and his Maternal grandparents, Samuel and Olga Washinko
Kevin is survived by his wife, Catherine Ross Clukey; parents, Peter F. Clukey; and Hope Ann Clukey; sons, Aaron Karson Clukey; and Jason Andrew Clukey; daughters, Sydney Katherine Clukey; and Audra Helena Bovender; brother, Brian Joseph Clukey and his wife, Theia Marie; mother-in-laws, Ruth Clukey; and Audrey Ross; His best friend, Kenneth Brull;
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Wake Memorial Park, 7002 Green Hope School Road, Cary, NC 27519. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm August 6th at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his children's scholarship fund, c/o CFNC, 404 Greenwood Circle, Cary, NC 27511.
