Fantasy Gamer’s Conclave

The Triangle Chapter of the Knightly Order of the Fiat Lux will hold its fourth annual gaming convention, the Fantasy Gamer’s Conclave, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the campus of Hopewell Academy, 101 Preston Executive Drive, Cary. The convention will focus on fantasy-based games such as Dungeons and Dragons, Munchkin, Malifaux, Magic the Gathering, Pathfinder and Warhammer. There will also be the Retro Video Game Museum, sword-fighting demonstrations, charity auction and gaming quiz. Cost is $10. Proceeds will support the Autism Society of North Carolina. Family Fishing for Fun

A family fishing program will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Harris Lake County Park, 2112 County Park Drive, New Hill. Learn about freshwater fish, play a fishing game or make a craft. Fees are $5 per family or $3 per person. The park will provide a pole, bait and instruction to get you started. For information, call 919-387-4342.

Cary Players Auditions

Cary Players will hold auditions for the musical comedy, “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” at 7 p.m. at the Cary Arts Center, 101 Dry Ave. Director Nancy Rich and Music Director Harrison Fisher are seeking actors, singers and dancers ages 18 and older for a variety of roles. Be prepared to sing 16 bars and bring sheet music; accompaniment will be provided. Bring an audition form and conflict calendar located at www.caryplayers.org.

Morrisville Town Hall Meeting

The Morrisville Town Council will hold a town hall meeting with At Large Council Member Mark Stohlman from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 100 Town Hall Drive.
