Another Broken Egg Café opened its new location on July 13 at Park West Village at 1121 Market Center Drive, Morrisville.

West Park Tavern has opened at 2734 N.C. Highway 55 in Cary. The tavern serves appetizers, fresh salads, sandwiches, entrees and alcohol from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.

Philanthropy

The Fuquay-Varina Emergency Food Bank recently received a donation of $700 from the STARS Theater and the town of Fuquay-Varina from the community production of “You can’t take it with you.” The food bank is also asking attendees of any STARS Theater production this summer to bring a donation of a box of macaroni and cheese.

The Lucy Daniels Center in Cary received a $10,000 grant from Cisco to help fund the SecurePath program. The grant will help support free mental health services to underserved children through age five/or kindergarten entry who are experiencing behavioral/emotional challenges.
