The Cary YMCA Superskippers won first place in overall speed events, first place in overall freestyle events and tied for first place team in the country to become the 2012 USA Jump Rope national champions in Long Beach, California. The team qualified for 22 events in the USA Jump Rope Grand Nationals, where top scorers across all age groups competed against one another. The Grand National awards are:

•  Graham Booth, third place, Male Single Rope Speed

•  Hannah Butler, Becca Purser and Ellen Emmerson, first place, Female Double Dutch Single Freestyle

•  Hannah Butler, Ellen Emmerson, Alex Davis-Isaac and Catherine Shaw, second place, Female Double Dutch Pairs Freestyle

•  Ashleigh Steadman, second place, Individual All-Around Female 12-under

•  Graham Booth, first place, Individual All-Around Male 13-14

•  Matthew Russell, second place, Individual All-Around Male 13-14

• Cary YMCA Superskippers, first place overall, Team Speed

• Cary YMCA Superskippers, first place overall, Team Freestyle

• Cary YMCA Superskippers, first place, Team (tie)
