Green Hope High School

Green Hope High School will hold its seventh annual summer orientation for rising ninth graders. Orientation for last names A-K will be on July 31 and last names L-Z on August 14.

N.C. Wildlife Federation grants

The N.C. Wildlife Federation will provide up to seven grants of $1,000 each to students.

To qualify for the NCWF scholarships, students must be enrolled full-time at an accredited university or college and majoring in wildlife, fisheries, forestry, conservation or the environment. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale is required.

The deadline to apply is Friday, June 29. For details, visit www.ncwf.org.

Substitute Teachers Meeting

The Substitute Teachers of Wake County will meet from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at St. Timothy’s School, 4523 Six Forks Road, Raleigh. RSVP to stawakecounty@gmail.com.
