Tony Woodard of Four Oaks, right, and Scott Smith of Apex topped the 54-boat field in the final qualifying tournament for the Boats Unlimited-Piedmont Bass Classics 2012 Spring Bass Tournament Trail Championship at Jordan Lake. The championship is set for June 23 and carries a $10,000 prize. The duo totaled 24.96 pounds on their five-fish catch and collected a $535 prize. Four Oaks anglers Scott Dunn and Stewart Adams placed third in the tournament with 21.79 pounds, while Kenly’s Ted Boyette teamed with Steve Woodlief of Wake Forest to finish fourth with 20.13 pounds.
