Baseball

Cary Senior Babe Ruth

Games are scheduled for June in Cary and surrounding communities. Ages 17-18. Age determined as of April 30. Registration for tryouts is required, and the participant must attend either the May 21 or May 23 session. Fees are $44 for residents and $69 for nonresidents. For details, call 919-387-5844.

Basketball

Holly Springs Adult

This league is for men who will be at least 18 years old by the start of the season. Games will be played at the newly renovated W.E. Hunt Recreation Center gym. Team registrations only. Buddy Sports

Holly Springs

Buddy Sports is a program for special needs children ages 5-13 with varying levels of ability. Sports include: soccer, T-ball, basketball, gymnastics and tennis. Classes meet for an hour on Saturday mornings, usually at the W.E. Hunt Recreation Center.

Fees are $20 for residents and $30 for nonresidents. Roles for volunteers of any age include assisting instructors or working with class participants. Contact Jon Allen at 919-567-4728.

Football

Holly Springs Youth

Holly Springs Parks and Recreation football players are the Yellow Jackets, split into: Mini Mite, ages 7-8; Mighty Mite, ages 9-10; and Pee Wee, ages 11-12. Registration is Saturday, May 12 to Friday, June 1, for residents and Tuesday, May 29 to Friday, June 1, for non-residents. Contact Landon Carroll or Kristen Denton at 919-557-9601 or 919-557-6293.

Volleyball

Cary Summer Youth Girls

Season runs late May through late July. Ages 12-16. Age determined as of Sept. 1. Residents and nonresidents can register through Sunday, May 13. Fees are $44 for residents and $69 for nonresidents. For details, visit www.townofcary.org.

Sitting Volleyball

The Triangle Volleyball Club is starting a sitting volleyball league and needs participants. Sitting volleyball sessions will be held on the second Friday of the month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at 9301 Globe Center Drive, Suite 140, Morrisville. For information, visit www.trianglevolleyball.org.
