More than a thousand athletes from across Wake County gathered at Cary Academy on Wednesday to race, jump, throw and compete at the local Spring Games of the Special Olympics. The event, hosted across four days at Cary Academy and Ravenscroft High School, included students from more than 90 schools and 120 special-needs classrooms across the county.
