The Morrisville Town Council will hold a town hall meeting with District 4 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 100 Town Hall Drive.

Teen Discussion

Golf Tournament Fundraiser

Second Chance Pet Adoptions will hold a golf tournament fundraiser called “Putts Fore Mutts & Cats” at 9 a.m. at Lakeshore Golf Course, 4621 Lumley Road, Durham. Registration is at 8 a.m. Entry fee is $75 per person and includes 18 holes of golf, cart, registration gift, continental breakfast, all beverages and lunch. Sequins and Spurs Fundraiser

Horse and Buddy, a nonprofit organization that offers therapeutic horseback riding to children and young adults with special needs, will hold its seventh annual Sequins and Spurs Gala at 6:30 p.m. at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary. Movie Under the Stars

Fuquay-Varina Downtown will hold Movie Under the Stars from 7 to 11 p.m. in the Stephens Ace Hardware parking lot. Preshow entertainment will begin at 7 p.m. and will include music and a special appearance by the Fuquay Cruisers classic car club. The movie will begin around 8 p.m. Hay bales will be provided for children, but adults are suggested to bring chairs. Cost is $1. Children under the age of two are free. Arthritis Walk

Teen Day Fuquay

The Fuquay-Varina Police Department will hold Teen Day Fuquay from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fuquay-Varina Community Center. The alcohol and distracted driving awareness program will offer students ages 11-18 the opportunity to experience the realities of mixing alcohol and texting with driving using a variety of hands-on, high tech activities to simulate the effects in a safe environment. Kids Appreciation Day

The Kiwanis Club will hold its 10th annual Kids Appreciation Day and Terrific Kids and Teachers Award Ceremony from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the Womble Park Band Shelter Area.
