Falcons’ 4-by-800 team excels
CORRECTION: Shewit Weldense, not Sarah Alexander, rounded out the 4-by-800 relay team that competed in New York.The Green Hope girls 4-by-800 team of (from left) Maura McDonnell, Lauren Colberg, (redacted) and Erica Amatori, seen here at the 4A indoor championships in February, finished eighth in the New Balance Nationals in New York on March 10. The team ran a 9:18.20, which is the fastest time for any N.C. team to compete in the event.
