Anna Mae was born in Garfield, NJ to the late Keimpe Roedema and Jessie Zylstra Roedema. She worked as Vice President for the Bank of New York for over 40 years. Anna Mae was an active member of Garfield Presbyterian Church in Garfield, NJ and an avid New York Yankee fan. In her more recent years, she enjoyed playing dominoes with her friends at Heritage Pines in Cary.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Catherine Long.

Anna Mae is survived by sister, Jeanette Hill of Cary; brother, Kemp Roedema and his wife, Lucia of FL; nine nieces and nephews; and eleven great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home Chapel, 200 SE Maynard Road, Cary, NC 27511. Burial will follow the service at Wake Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at the funeral home.
