CHURCH SUPPERS

First United Methodist Church will hold a regular fellowship feast from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. every Wednesday through March 28 at 117 S. Academy St., Cary. FREE THROW CHAMPIONSHIP

The Father Albert J. Todd Knights of Columbus at St. Bernadette’s in Fuquay-Varina will hold their annual Youth Free Throw Championship at 5 p.m. Friday, March 23, at St. Mary Magdalene Church, 625 Magdala Place, Apex. Boys and girls ages 10 to 14 are invited to participate in the local level of competition. Winners will continue through district and state competitions. HERMANO DAY

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is partnering with the Episcopal Farmworker Ministry to hold its 15th annual Hermano Day/Farmworker Day today, March 18, at 221 Union St., Cary. The items most needed this year are: men’s work pants (sizes 26, 28, 30, 32), men’s socks and athletic shoes, men’s long-sleeved shirts (smaller sizes), men’s T-shirts (smaller sizes), men’s underwear (small or medium), sheets (twin), towels, blankets and pillows. Bags of corn meal (MASECA), dried pinto beans and rice are also needed. A new option is to make a monetary donation earmarked for either a $75 Welcome Kit or a $25 Shower Kit.
