I read with disbelief that a group of cat lovers wants the county commissioners to allow them to trap, sterilize and re-release feral cats back to the wild, where they kill countless native songbirds, adult and baby rabbits, squirrels, etc., and threaten domestic cats allowed to roam outside their owners' homes.

I guess these people have no compassion for these animals, only nuisance cats.

I urge the commissioners to stand firm on the existing rules for not releasing non-native animals for the well-being of our precious wildlife.
