I am wholeheartedly against any sort of gaudy neon sign desecrating our town.

My husband and I moved here from Orlando, Fla., where billboards and other obnoxious signs covered every inch of space. We specifically sought out Cary because of its sign ordinance.

If the town decides to move forward with one neon sign, then what's to stop others from quickly joining it?

It's a slippery slope that would change the face of our town forever.
