The Tobacco Road Basketball League has added three more teams and finalized its 2012 schedule.

The eight members of the TRBL are: Cary Invasion; Queen City Express (Charlotte); Big Texas (Jacksonville, N.C.); Wilmington SeaDawgs; Fayetteville Crossover; PrimeTime Players (Rock Hill, S.C.); Carolina Gladiators (Smithfield); and Team Macleem (N/A).

Team Macleem will play only exhibition games in the TRBL this season. No hometown was given to the team, though it will play both of its exhibition games - including one March 30 against Cary - in Fayetteville's J.D. Fuller Center.

Big Texas is named with the nickname of a now-deceased player who played for Big Texas coach Dana Pickett.

The TRBL will send its 2012 champion to a national minor-league basketball tournament, currently scheduled to be played at the home venues of qualifying teams starting July 2012. The TRBL will begin play in April 2012.
