ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Saint Francis United Methodist Church will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, at 2965 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary. CLASSES

FOOD MINISTRY

The Brown Bag Ministry, which feeds more than 1,400 hungry people a week, is looking for middle- and high-school aged volunteers. The group meets at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Apex about 9 a.m. Saturdays. Volunteers prepare bagged meals and hand them out at Moore Square in Raleigh. GATHERING

Christ the King Lutheran Church in Cary will hold a Glocal Mission Gathering on Jan. 27-28. The event will bring together an ecumenical, intergenerational group for a day and a half of worship, workshops and sharing around global and local missions. MEETINGS
