Diamante Inc.'s Star of Hope Campaign will culminate with the Three Kings Day Parade from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at Fred G. Bond Metro Park, 801 High House Road, Cary.

Traditionally, gifts are exchanged for the holidays in most Spanish-speaking and some European countries the night before Jan. 6, or Epiphany.

Some participants in the Three Kings Day Parade will walk in traditional dress, and some will have musical accompaniment. The parade will finish with the arrival of the Three Kings as they bring joy to children in the community.

The Star of Hope Campaign will continue to take donations until Saturday at 315 N. Academy St. in Cary. Items that will be accepted include: cash donations; new, unwrapped toys for children from birth to age 14; warm clothes for children, any size; and nonperishable food, including rice, beans, spaghetti, tuna, olive oil, tomato sauce and cereal. A drop box for items will be near the Christmas tree in the lobby. The donations will be distributed to families at the parade.
