LACROSSE

WINTER YOUTH

Youth Lacrosse System is holding registration for second- through eighth-graders who want to play lacrosse this winter at the South Wake Lacrosse Park.

New players will be able to borrow a limited supply of YLS equipment upon request. To register, visit YLSLacrosse.com or email Directors @YLSlacrosse.com.

SOCCER

HOLLY SPRINGS YOUTH

Practices will begin in mid-February. Games will begin in early March. Teams will practice twice weekly prior to games and once weekly after games begin. The parks and recreation department will provide jerseys and socks for all players. Parents will need to provide shorts, shin guards, and cleats. Ages 5-12. Ages determined as of Aug. 1, 2012.

Registration will be from Jan. 3-20 for residents and Jan. 17-20 for nonresidents. Fees are $60 for residents and $90 for nonresidents. Call 919-557-6293, 919-557-9601 or visit www.hollyspringsnc.us.

SOFTBALL

APEX ADULT

There will be Spring softball leagues in Men's B, C, D, and Church (American, National, and International) Divisions. Leagues are limited to six teams. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Jan. 9 and ends at 4 p.m. Feb. 9. Men's league fees are $500 per team. Church league fees are $475 per team. Non-residents pay an additional $25 per person. TENNIS

CARY ADULT ORGANIZED PLAY

The Cary Tennis Park maintains an interest board. If you would like to play but do not have an opponent, stop by the Cary Tennis Park office and add your name to the board to find out about other players who are looking for matches.
