CONCERT

The Saint Francis United Methodist Church brass band will perform a mini-concert of not-so-often-heard Christmas carols following the 11 a.m. service today, Dec. 18. Details919-362-1666.

MEETINGS

The Issachar forum meets 6 p.m. every Sunday at Perkins Restaurant, 908 U.S. 64, Apex. The forum is a think tank that discusses current and world events, and how they relate to biblical prophecy. For information, call 919-771-8210.

A brown bag dinner and study of "The Journey" by Adam Hamilton will be held at 5:45 p.m. Mondays.

A breakfast study group at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesdays will discuss the book, "Behold! Cultivating Attentiveness in the Season of Advent" by Pamela Hawkins.

A brown bag lunch and study of "Christmas is Not Your Birthday: Experience the Joy of Living and Giving Like Jesus" by Mike Slaughter will be at noon Wednesdays.
