EBOOK PROGRAM

A program called "Get Started with Library eBooks" will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Eva Perry Regional Library, 2100 Shepherd's Vineyard Drive, Apex. Staff from Wake County's Digital Library will demonstrate how to search for and download eBooks from the library's collections. Patrons will be able to try out eReaders. WINTER CANOE HIKE

A winter canoe hike will be from 9-11 a.m. beginning at the boat rental building at Lake Crabtree County Park in Morrisville. Prior canoeing experience is not required. All canoes, paddles and related safety equipment will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars and cameras. Cost is $5 per adult or $10 per canoe. Registration is required.
