I live in MacArthur Park. I bike to school every day because I was reassigned but switched back to Davis Drive Elementary School and there is no transportation. It is on the left side of the road, so every day we cross onto the sidewalk. Afterwards we cross again in front of a busy intersection.

Since there are so many cars, we always have to wait, and it takes time off our education. I think it would be helpful if you put a sidewalk on the other side of the road, and people on my street agree with me.

There is a bike lane, but not too many people use it because it's unsafe for the fact that it ends abruptly.

I believe if there was a sidewalk it would be safer and easier to get to school. Plus, people may start walking and biking instead of driving everywhere. This change could help us get to school faster, stay safe, cause less accidents and cut down on car usage, which saves gas.
